Unique framecraft

Unique Framecraft have been working along side  Art Unlimited since the gallery opened in 2022, assiting with framing, and then becoming a sponsor for the Open Art Competition for 2022 & 2023. We are delighted to welcome them back for the 2024 Competiton. 


Based in Axminster, Devon Andrea Grigg and her late husband started Unique Framecraft over 25 years ago. She speciallised in bespoke framing for both professional artists and the general pubic. Over the years she has framed everything from  standard painting and photographs to the more unsual pieces such as puzzles, medals, footballshirts and even a car door! 

Andrea is not afraid of a challange and has been know to say "we will frame anything so long as its not breathing".

Furleigh Estate

We are pleased to welcome Furleigh Estate back as sponsors for the 2024 Open Art  Competiton after having been prominent sponsors last year. 


Furleight Estate are situated in the South West corner of Dorset where they produce award winning still and sparkling wines from Dorset grown grapes. 


Furleigh Estate is 85 acres of vineyard, lakes and grazing land surrounded by woodland. The area is teaming with wildlife; buzzards fly overhead; deer, pheasants and partridge roam the vineyard, while heron fish regularly from the lakes to which our resident geese return each Spring.


Over 22,000 vines grow on the south facing slopes of the Estate. 15,000 of these are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier used to produce our classic quality sparkling wines. Bacchus and Rondo are also grown to produce fine still wines.
