Emma Cook lives in the West Midlands with her husband and two children. She has had a passion for art from a young age. After studying art and design, graphic design, and photography, her career went in a different direction, and she left her passion for art behind her.

 Twenty years and  two children later, she decided that it was time to take up her brushes again. Starting only as a hobby to begin with,  it soon turned into a career. 

Emma’s inspiration as an artist comes from all around her, in particular nature.  The influence of landscapes and seascapes can be clearly seen in her later abstract works as she marries it together with strong bold colours and different mediums to get beautiful paintings with texture and depth. 

Emma doesn’t stick to one medium and will paint in oil, acrylic, and spray paints. She really enjoys the process of painting and experimenting with paints is a huge part of this.
