Matt Hooper

Matt Hooper

Matt wanted to be a artist from when he was a little boy, however it took him 27 years after finishing school  and working in a factory in Leeds to have the confidence to go for his dream.

Matt uses the print making process of lino cutting to create bold designs.  Lino printing, also known as lino cutting, is a printmaking technique that goes back to the early 20th century. It’s an effective method for creating multiple prints of an artistic piece using linoleum. Other printmaking techniques, such as etching and lithographs, use a similar technique.
